Looking for a great way to start your presentation?

Tell your participants you will be reading a series of phrases. Instruct them to "take a stand" after each phrase that applies to them and remain standing until what is read does not apply. It is a great way for everyone to begin looking at similarities and differences.

	I have an organized and orderly bedroom.
	I often cry during sad movies.
	I have a sense of humor others think is weird.
	I would go bungee jumping right now if I could.
	I discuss intellectual ideas more often than relationship issues.
	I love Wrestle Mania.
	I think it is more important to be right than liked.
	I promptly return things that I borrow.
	I laugh a lot.
	I usually think before I speak.
	I like reading steamy romance novels
	I do the dishes as I cook so that when I sit down to eat, the kitchen is already clean.
	I know how to program my VCR.
	I hate being late and it is rare when I am late.
	I can easily argue both sides of an issue—and I like it!
	I’m open-minded to learning something new at this presentation.
