ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Jean Marie Miscisin

Jean Marie Miscisin’s love of reading and learning started with her first library card at age three. She spent the early part of her career in education designing preschool Reading Readiness programs for Flint Community Schools in Michigan. Later she became a reading intervention teacher for K-6 schools in California.

Jean Marie has synthesized the wonderful concepts and skills she has learned from her mentors, Dr. Alvin Loving at the U. of Michigan and Dr. Armin Schulz at California State University, Stanislaus over the years with her own experiences to become one of today’s most effective educators. In this book, she shares many of her methods which are based on the principles of True Colors by Don Lowry.
